Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat should I bring?
If you're new to Burnby please read the info below about clothing, cancellation and facilities. Most importantly please download and complete our rider registration form. What should I wear?
Please dress for the weather (including spectators) as it does get cold. Here's a run down of the main things to wear: - Long sleeves are essential at all times of year. - Thin gloves are advisable at all times of the year. - Close fitting trousers, to help prevent rubs. - Small boots with a smooth sole and a small heel (no trainers), or wellies. When the weather is good, don't forget your sunscreen and a bottle for water. We now have cafe that over looks the arena, it has a log burner for chilly days and free water and hot drinks for all. What happens if the weather is bad? We will always run if we can and strive to give you as much notice as possible, if we have to cancel due to weather. However, we do have to think about your safety and the safety of the horses. Due to this we may have to cancel, due to conditions, at short notice. What if I need to cancel? We have a 24 hour cancellation policy to ensure we can look after our staff and horses. Please give us at least 24 hours notice in relation to any cancelation. Any cancelation made with less notice will be charged at the full price of the lesson/event. |
